Dr. Melanie Brennan is the Founder, CEO, and Executive Director of EA Therapeutic Health (formerly ExercisAbilities, Inc.). With over 25 years of experience, she holds both a Master’s in Physical Therapy (1998) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2008) from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN. Dr. Brennan spent 11 years at the Mayo Clinic, specializing in spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation. Her mission is to expand access to neurological rehabilitation and wellness services beyond traditional medical models. Her certifications include Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation NeuroRecovery Network training, Neufit Neubie Master Certification, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, and NDT-based stroke recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring clinicians, traveling globally, and spending time with her three daughters.

Rhonda Burnap serves as the Business Office Manager at EA Therapeutic Health, where she has been instrumental in optimizing operations since joining in 2016. With over 14 years of experience in nonprofit management, Rhonda plays a key role in administrative coordination and business development. She resides in Rochester, Minnesota with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys running and knitting—often attempting new sweater projects in her free time.

Mark Lucas is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong track record in building and scaling technology ventures. After starting his career at Xerox Corporation, he co-founded Lucas Therapies alongside his wife, Wendy, before launching ProVox Technologies, an early innovator in voice-to-text and EMR systems for healthcare. ProVox won Microsoft’s Product of the Year Award (Emerging Technologies, 2000) before its successful sale. Mark later became one of the first franchisees of Five Guys Burgers & Fries, building 11 locations before exiting in 2010. Since then, he has founded and advised several tech companies and co-developed Virtual Sally. A Virginia Tech alumnus, Mark is also a long-standing member and former state chair of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
